JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Örkelljunga municipality's Food Service Unit is seeking a chef for placement in the kitchen at the elderly care facility Södergården. The work involves performing all applicable tasks in a central kitchen. The kitchen prepares meals for elderly care, people with disabilities, school and preschool children, as well as for meal distribution. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with chef training. We would appreciate prior experience in meal preparation in restaurants/large kitchens as well as experience with adapted meals for elderly people and children. Good knowledge of kitchen economics, hygiene, and how the production chain is ensured is of great importance. Great emphasis is placed on service and customer relations and the ability to collaborate with everyone in the work team to achieve common goals. It is important that you are stress-resilient as there are sometimes high-paced periods in the operation. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, understand written instructions, and have good IT skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent position. Duration: Start date: 2026-09-01 or by agreement. Working hours: Daytime.
