We are now seeking a Key Account Manager for a well-renowned and financially strong installation firm in the Gothenburg region. The company has over 45 years of history, a strong market position, and long-standing customer relationships within technical facility installations, service, operations, energy optimization, and contract work. The business is characterized by high competence, good profitability, and a culture where people thrive and stay for the long term. This is not a role where you are expected to chase new customers every day. Quite the opposite. You will take responsibility for an established customer portfolio where the focus is on developing relationships, creating added value, and identifying new business opportunities with existing customers. About the role As a Key Account Manager, you will be an important link between customer operations and the company's technical organization. You work closely with property owners, housing companies, public clients, and commercial customers to understand their needs and help them develop their properties in a sustainable and business-appropriate way. Your assignment primarily involves: Nurturing and developing existing customer relationships Identifying improvement and upselling opportunities Conducting customer meetings and follow-ups Following up on ongoing and completed projects Coordinating the right internal resources at the right time Working systematically with customer plans and business development Contributing to long-term growth through trust-based sales You will work closely with technicians, project managers, group leaders, and management to ensure customers receive high quality, the right solutions, and a positive experience throughout their customer journey. We believe you have experience from one of the following areas: Technical sales Real estate industry Installation industry Technical facility management Operations and maintenance Energy- or ventilation-related operations Contract work You may be an engineer by training or have built your competence through many years of practical experience. Most importantly, you: Are confident in customer dialogue Have a genuine interest in technology and real estate Can build trust at all levels Are structured and business-minded Thrive with long-term relationships See opportunities without being pushy You need to be able to communicate just as naturally with a technician in the field as with a property manager, procurement officer, or CEO. We are not seeking a traditional salesperson This is not a role for someone driven by short sales cycles and quick closes. We are seeking you—someone who understands that the best deals are created through trust, knowledge, and long-term collaboration. You are the person customers call when they want to discuss development opportunities, energy efficiency improvements, service needs, or future investments—not because you sell hardest, but because you create the most value.
