About the Operation: Karlslundsskolan is a well-functioning F-9 school located in central Vallentuna with good accessibility to transportation. The school has approximately 500 students and 80 employees. The school manages all facilities in-house and operates a restaurant kitchen. We have implemented an enhanced school start that applies to all schools in grades F–6 in Vallentuna Municipality. This means that recreational staff and teachers collaborate based on their different competencies to make students' school day as varied as possible. Responsibilities: As a certified teacher in the recreational school, you have significant responsibility for planning and driving development in the recreational school and the school together with other staff. You participate in the recreational school's development group to co-plan and organize the recreational school's development. With your qualification as a teacher in visual arts, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on your own visual arts lessons in the lower and middle grades. You meet and base your approach on each student's needs and circumstances. You are a clear leader and a positive adult role model who finds it easy to collaborate, build relationships, and communicate clearly with students, guardians, and colleagues. You contribute positively and creatively and see opportunities in new challenges. Collaboration occurs in teams for both school and recreational time to create a comprehensive view of students' learning. Qualifications: You have a recreational school teacher degree with teacher certification or equivalent education, as well as qualifications in visual arts. You are well familiar with the school's and recreational school's mission and governing documents. You have good digital competence. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. Personal Qualities: You work toward results, demonstrate reliability, and take responsibility for planning and following up on your work. You strengthen relationships by helping others, collaborating, following rules and processes, and sharing information.
