About the Position Do you have experience with edge braking and sheet metal bending? Are you a curious and technically skilled person with an interest in working within manufacturing? Then you've come to the right place! We are looking for an experienced edge brake operator with a sense of craftsmanship and attention to detail. This is a long-term position and is a temporary staffing placement through Montico, where the right person will be offered direct employment with the client after an initial placement period. The position is full-time and is scheduled during day shifts. Job Description You will perform your work at our client's facility in Vimmerby, where you will operate a Darley edge brake. Using drawings, you will set up the edge brake according to measurements and angles. You will bend, form, and adjust metal sheets of various thicknesses and material types according to specifications, then perform quality control on the processed sheet parts to ensure they meet the required specifications and tolerances. Their edge brakes offer high flexibility with pressing force up to 300 tons and the ability to bend components up to 4 meters in length. You will produce recurring series as well as handle new incoming orders that include special jobs ranging from small to large scale, offering you considerable variety in your work.
