We are now seeking experienced ICU nurses for an extended assignment in intensive care and postoperative care during autumn 2026. About the Assignment You will work in a unit that combines intensive care, intermediate care, and postoperative care. The assignment involves varied work with multiple patient groups and acute care interventions. Patient flows may include: Intensive care patients Postoperative patients Stroke Seizures and intoxications Respiratory failure Cardiac care and monitoring The unit operates with a broad acute care mandate where participation in trauma alerts and cardiac arrest responses is a natural part of the work. Work Environment This assignment suits you if you thrive at smaller hospitals where flexibility, broad competence, and independent work are essential. You work closely with other professionals and need to feel comfortable in both acute situations and advanced patient care. Documentation is done in the PDMS system MetaVision. Period & Scope Period: weeks 36–48 Scope: approximately 428 hours Working hours according to schedule, day/evening/night shifts and weekends may occur We Are Looking for You Who Are a licensed nurse with specialist education in intensive care Have current experience from ICU operations Are comfortable with independent work and acute situations Have experience in postoperative care and cardiac monitoring Are familiar with trauma and cardiac arrest alerts Thrive in a diverse and varied clinical environment Meritorious: Experience from smaller hospitals Experience with HIA/IMA Experience with MetaVision Requirements Before Presentation The following documents need to be available before presentation: Updated CV Specialist nurse degree in intensive care Adult CPR certification Two current references from your most recent assignments or positions What VårdIX Offers At VårdIX we work with clear terms, close contact, and transparent communication throughout the entire assignment.
