About the Role Castra is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect who wants to work with design, development, and long-term management of stable, secure, and scalable IT environments. In this role, you'll have overall responsibility for the infrastructure and serve as a technical sounding board for both strategic and operational matters. You'll work closely with the business, IT operations, development teams, and external vendors to ensure that the infrastructure supports the organization's needs—today and in the future. The role includes both further development of existing environments and participation in new initiatives, such as procurements, modernization, or transition to cloud and hybrid solutions. Responsibilities Design and further develop IT infrastructure architecture in complex environments Develop architectural guidelines, principles, and technical decisions Ensure high availability, security, performance, and manageability Support IT operations and development teams with architectural guidance and technical direction Participate in procurements, vendor discussions, and technical evaluations Contribute to technical planning, roadmap work, and long-term architectural decisions Your Profile We're looking for someone who has: Several years of experience working with IT infrastructure in larger organizations Experience with architecture in servers, networking, storage, and virtualization Good understanding of cloud platforms and hybrid IT environments Experience working with security, continuity, redundancy, and lifecycle management Experience working systematically with documentation and architectural principles We'd like you to have at least eight years of relevant experience, with several years in an architecture role or similar senior technical position.
