Learn more on the website: Elicron Responsibilities As a Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for executing call-off, project, and miscellaneous purchases and ensuring that deliveries occur according to plan through active delivery monitoring. You continuously request, review, and evaluate quotes, negotiate terms, and select suppliers based on commercial and quality criteria before completing the purchase. The role involves close collaboration with quotation engineers, supporting both in the quote stage with customers and in the next step when the order is placed by ensuring prices, lead times, and any updates related to ongoing customer or project matters. You are responsible for placing purchase orders, confirming orders, and following up on deliveries in the Monitor business system, as well as reviewing and approving supplier invoices, identifying deviations, and protecting the company's business interests. The role also includes approving and registering new suppliers and working systematically with supplier evaluation and quality assurance within your assigned categories. Sustainability is also an important part of this work. You will enter into agreements with frequent suppliers and handle complaints, disputes, and warranty matters that arise from completed purchases. Procurement work is broad and can encompass both technical materials and processing as well as indirect materials and services, which requires good prioritization skills and a structured approach in a day-to-day environment where needs can vary over time. Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities University degree or vocational education in a relevant field (procurement, logistics, economics, or engineering) Experience with operational procurement work, preferably from manufacturing industry Familiarity with business systems (preferably Monitor) and managing the entire procurement flow from order to delivery Very strong communication skills in dialogue with both internal and external parties Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing In this role, you need to be confident in taking responsibility for your area and driving procurement matters through to completion. You communicate clearly and factually, follow up on your commitments, and work well with both colleagues and suppliers. You work in a structured manner, are detail-oriented with regard to prices, terms, and delivery times, and have a natural service focus when interacting with internal functions.
