Systems Security Engineer

Your Role As a systems security engineer at Saab Dynamics, you will have an important role in security demonstration to ensure that a technical system is approved for use. You will work closely with colleagues and project teams, where you collectively work towards developing and maintaining Saab's portfolio of products. Among other things, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across multiple disciplines, such as mechanics, electronics, procurement, and production, which gives you a broad network. Your role extends beyond simply identifying risks; you will be responsible for analyzing and minimizing system risks to prevent potential accidents that could result in harm to people, property, or the environment. These analyses encompass the entire system lifecycle, which means you will familiarize yourself with mechanical design, hardware and software functions, and understand the interaction with users and other external systems. This also means that you will dive deep into analyses of design and construction, requirement specification, and verification documentation to achieve a secure system. With us, you will continue to develop as a systems security engineer. Your Profile As a person, you are detail-oriented, yet capable of seeing the bigger picture. You are curious and it comes naturally to you to drive your own work forward, both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues. You enjoy working systematically with processes, analyses, and documentation and have a strong interest in systems security, technology, software, electronics, and/or mechanics. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both in writing and verbally. It is meritorious, but not required, if you meet any one or more of the following criteria: Previous experience working with analyses, documentation, or processes You have completed a higher education, preferably in technology, mechanics, electronics, or software Through previous work or studies, you have come into contact with tasks within systems or systems security Interest in underlying system architecture and design The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security clearance regulations at any given time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
