Göta Engineer Regiment and the Engineer Battalion are now seeking part-time group leaders, soldiers, and sailors for combat units. Göta Engineer Regiment, Ing 2, is Sweden's only engineer regiment. The regiment trains and recruits officers and soldiers to engineer units with specialized expertise to perform qualified field work for national and international missions. The regiment also staffs several different combat units with connections to field work. Platoons with available positions according to the list below. It is important that you have the right skills for the position, so be clear about stating which position you held during military service and any driving licenses or specialized knowledge you had in your role. For example, Mechanic - Tracked Vehicle, driving license BV410 Command Platoon including motorcycle orderly Staff and Supply Platoon Rope Platoon Machine Platoon KB5 Platoon (Combat Bridge 5) Field Engineering Platoon including GEO competence Medical Platoon Requirements: Meet the Swedish Armed Forces' physical requirements for employment: Beep test 8:8 and multi-test 175 points Completed military service or GSS/K in the requested position Meritorious: Completed military service in the requested position at Ing 2 Completed international service in the requested position Driver's license at least class B (certain positions) Driver's license class C or higher Held employment as GSS/K in the requested position Documents to attach to your application: Personal letter with a description of yourself and life history, both civilian and military CV with references - Write with your position as a conscript and any GSS/K employment as well as any driving licenses High school grades Military service certificate (preliminary if you are currently completing military service) Other relevant education/competence/experience Driver's license and any military driving license Certificate from international service with references (if applicable) Application deadline: 2026-08-21 Application Process: You will receive an email confirming that we have received your application.
