Learning Sector Leadership is a central unit within the Learning Sector that includes a range of professionals, such as development leaders, ICT strategists, operations developers, facilities coordinators, and child and student health services. We are now seeking an information officer who wants to help develop and strengthen our work in information management, information security, and data protection. DUTIES As an information officer, you have overall responsibility for the Learning Sector's work in information security, data protection, and information management. The role encompasses both strategic and operational tasks. Strategic security work: You are the sector's information security officer and are responsible for implementing, developing, and maintaining the information security management system. You drive efforts to adapt operations to the NIS2 Directive and the new Cybersecurity Act. Data protection and privacy: You are responsible for the Learning Sector's records according to Article 30 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The role includes conducting data protection impact assessments, managing camera surveillance matters, and providing support on data protection-related questions. Operational support and management: You support operations on practical information management matters and actively work to disseminate knowledge through training and information initiatives. You are also responsible for incident reporting, classification of systems and applications, and establishment of data processor agreements (DPA). Crisis and security matters: You are responsible for matters concerning public address systems and emergency announcements during crisis and security incidents. You are part of the sector leadership within the Learning Sector and will also contribute to other overarching assignments and administrative tasks. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with relevant education in information security and higher education or other experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working with information security and good knowledge of relevant legislation in the field. It is beneficial if you are familiar with: • Cybersecurity Act (NIS2) • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) • AI Regulation • LOU, the Public Procurement Act • Camera Surveillance Act It is meritorious if you: • have experience with information security work in the public sector • have experience conducting training and presentations • have experience leading work groups or projects As a person, you are structured, responsible, and have a strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing. You work methodically and are accustomed to writing reports and summaries. You are judicious, flexible, and easily transition between strategic and operational tasks. We value strong collaboration skills, the ability to build relationships, and comfort working both independently and with others. Employment type: Fixed-term contract. Duration: 6 months or longer.
