Job Responsibilities In your role as HR Director, you create the conditions for a strong, collaborative, and development-oriented team where members support each other and share knowledge in daily work. As HR Director, you contribute to the municipality's strategic management work and have overall responsibility for leading, developing, and coordinating the municipality's personnel policy work. The position includes responsibility for the entire HR function, such as labor law, recruitment, competence supply, work environment, union cooperation, rehabilitation, salary administration, management support, and development of digitalized HR processes. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and think strategically in management forums, while at the same time being structured in your work approach and having a strong ability to implement methods and tools that create long-term added value for the organization. You contribute to psychological safety in the organization by being unpretentious and innovative, and you have the ability to build relationships and create value through collaboration. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to the municipality's culture and sustainability work and who thrives in a role where you can alternate between strategic and operational work, where an important part is to build relationships with the municipality's employee groups through presence in the operations. Qualifications Requirements - University or college degree in HR. - In-depth knowledge of employer and labor law issues, with at least 5 years of experience in qualified HR work at both operational and strategic levels. - Excellent knowledge of the Office package and experience with various HR systems. - Excellent knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. - B-class driving license. Meritorious - Leadership experience with budget and personnel responsibility, preferably within HR. - Experience working with labor law issues in a politically governed organization. - Good knowledge of relevant central collective agreements and General Terms and Conditions. - Experience driving development and change initiatives. About the Organization As HR Director in Ånge Municipality, you are offered varied work in a development-oriented role where trust, responsibility, and team spirit are cornerstones and HR is a natural and important part of the organization's success. As HR Director, you report directly to the Municipal Manager and are part of the municipality's management group, thus offering you a central position with significant independent mandate and good opportunities to contribute to both culture and structure. You have personnel, budget, and work environment responsibility for the HR unit, which consists of four HR consultants, two payroll administrators, and two system administrators.
