Your responsibilities As head waiter with us, you are responsible for daily planning and coordination of your service team currently of 10 employees. You work closely with the restaurant manager and serve as a support in operational management. You also work with staff management, monitoring and active participation in developing the restaurant's offerings and experience concept. In this role you will among other things be responsible for: • Planning and implementing scheduling and staffing planning. • Leading and distributing daily work within the service team. • Ensuring a good guest experience and high service level. • Handling cash functions and simple administration. • Contributing to cost-effective operations within breakfast, coffee and service activities. • Responsibility for inventory and purchasing related to restaurant operations. • Ensuring that procedures for order, hygiene and cleaning are followed. • Introducing and training new employees. • Participating in planning and execution of events such as weddings, conferences and other arrangements. Your background/Your qualities We are looking for someone who has or has previously held a similar role in the industry. We value your ability to create good structure, commitment and good cooperation with your colleagues. We believe you communicate clearly and professionally, both when meeting guests and collaborating with colleagues. We would like to see that you are solution-oriented and motivated by developing restaurant concepts and creating good guest experiences. You thrive in a dynamic environment where the pace can vary and have the ability to make decisions even under time pressure. The role involves work based on the operation's needs, which means you need to be flexible and able to work evenings, weekends and other inconvenient hours. Requirements • Experience from restaurant or tourism industry. • Experience of management or leadership role. • Good knowledge of food, beverages and service. Meritorious • Experience of personnel responsibility. • Experience of scheduling and staff planning. • Experience of working with events or concept development.
