As Head of Manufacturing Logistics at Plasman Simrishamn, you'll receive a clear mandate and strong authority to lead and develop a critical function within a global Automotive corporation. The role is part of the management team for the Simrishamn factory and is essential to ensuring competitive, stable, and future-proof logistics flows in line with Plasman's global strategy. This recruitment is conducted in partnership with Jefferson Wells; you will be directly employed by Plasman. About the Role You lead the logistics function in Simrishamn and are responsible for 22 employees, with 9 direct reports, including a Warehouse Manager. The position is based at the factory in Simrishamn, which has approximately 280 employees and is one of the group's leading production facilities. The role requires a leader who challenges established practices, creates structure, drives engagement, and ensures that strategic decisions translate into measurable improvements in daily operations. Your assignment involves taking a comprehensive approach to the entire logistics process—from planning and materials management to flows and delivery precision—and elevating all aspects to the highest Automotive standards. You have previously led a similar transformation journey and are motivated to do it again, with clear accountability and results-driven expectations. This is a role for someone who wants to develop and advance—not maintain. Areas of Responsibility Strategic Responsibility Own and develop the logistics function according to Lean principles with focus on flow, stability, and delivery precision Drive improvement and change initiatives linked to cost, capital allocation, and flexibility Ensure long-term competitiveness of logistics through digitalization, process development, and data-driven decision-making Own targets, KPI structure, and budget within the logistics area Operational Responsibility Serve as primary point of contact with internal and external customers and suppliers on logistics-related matters Lead and further develop the S&OP process, including capacity and resource planning Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding volumes, deliveries, and changes To Succeed in This Role You have several years of management experience in logistics within manufacturing, preferably from Automotive or plastics industries, and are experienced in driving change in complex technical environments with high demands.
