Description The Employment Unit (AME) in Ljusdal Municipality offers positions for individuals who face various barriers to employment in the regular labor market. With us, individuals gain skills through participating in employment activities and/or receiving a time-limited created position. The long-term goal is to help individuals secure employment in the regular labor market or begin studies, as well as achieve financial independence. AME currently has around 25 permanent employees working in various roles toward the same goal. We are a dedicated group committed to meeting and developing individuals while contributing to sustainable community development. We are now seeking a supervisor for our operations. You may work across several of our teams, as our operations require flexibility and the ability to handle emerging situations. We envision you working primarily as a supervisor in packaging, cleaning, and occasionally in our restaurant. As a supervisor, you are part of a work team with team leaders, supervisors, and a varying number of time-limited employees. Your role is to coach and share your expertise to develop our employees. As a supervisor, you participate in daily operations, provide guidance, and ensure that work is completed and meets quality standards. You are part of the work team and collaborate closely with our employees. Responsibilities As a supervisor, you coach and share your expertise to develop our employees. You participate in daily operations, provide guidance, and ensure that tasks are completed with high quality. Working closely with the team, you help create a positive, inclusive, and development-focused work environment. A central part of your role as supervisor is your commitment to reducing unemployment and promoting greater inclusion, participation, and creating opportunities for individuals' continued development toward financial independence. In packaging operations, you supervise various packing assignments where accuracy and structure are essential for achieving quality and efficiency. In cleaning operations, you supervise various types of cleaning assignments with the same high standards for accuracy and structure. In kitchen and restaurant operations, you supervise tasks including cooking, cashier work, bakery, and other activities related to lunch service, café, and conference catering, with a focus on learning and personal development. The goal of these operations is for employees to gain increased competence and thereby improve their chances of establishing themselves in the regular labor market. Qualifications and Requirements A valid B-category driver's license for manual transmission is required. The work involves physical tasks, so you must be in good physical condition. You must have completed upper secondary education with at least passing grades. You have pedagogical skills, are clear in your communication, and have a coaching approach. You are organized in your work and express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. The position requires flexibility, solution-oriented thinking, and strong collaboration skills. You must be confident in your supervisory role, have strong personal maturity, and be a good role model for our employees. Additionally, you are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. It is advantageous if you have: Previous experience in supervision or teaching. Training in kitchen/restaurant work or equivalent competence gained through work experience. Knowledge of food safety is advantageous. Other post-secondary education in behavioral sciences. Knowledge of the Swedish Public Employment Service's mission and various interventions. Knowledge of social services' overall mission and conditions for income support. Knowledge of ensuring quality and following up on results, as well as strong communication skills, responsibility, and supervisory abilities.
