Logistics Officer, G4 at Bergslagens Artillery Regiment, A 9 Would you like to be part of building one of the new regiments that the Swedish Armed Forces has been tasked to establish? The Government has decided to increase defense capability by re-establishing several regiments, where Bergslagens Artillery Regiment, A 9, in Kristinehamn is one of them. The regiment will be responsible for training two to three artillery battalions for, among others, brigades in southern Sweden. We are now seeking a logistics officer for the Regiment Staff at Bergslagens Artillery Regiment, A 9. Main Responsibilities As a logistics officer, you will be part of the regiment staff's logistics department G4. There, you will work to ensure that material is available at the various units of the regiment and for their tasks. You will work with determining material requirements for the regiment units being trained at A9 and monitor material supply. You will work with determining personal equipment requirements for personnel assigned to A9. You are responsible for issuing directives and supporting the regiment's units with inventory of material in use. You coordinate, implement, and monitor orders within the framework of supply procurement. You participate in recurring logistics meetings for coordination within the garrison. You have contact with other parts of the Swedish Armed Forces, including A8 in Boden, Army Staff, Engineering and Sustainment Office for Land Materiel (TVK Mark), and FMLOG. You monitor the department's functional mailbox. Other logistics tasks such as monitoring material status, and more. A 9 is under establishment and in a development phase, and the material service is therefore undergoing significant development. The work will be varied and tasks may change over time. Wellness and physical training are a natural part of work for all personnel in the Swedish Armed Forces, and you train during work hours 3 hours based on your own personal goals. REQUIREMENTS/Qualifications Approved upper secondary school diploma. Work experience in logistics. Completed military basic training/VPL. Good experience with computer-based work, particularly in Excel and Word. Experience with planning and coordination work. Category B driver's license. Personal Qualities You enjoy lists, spreadsheets, and have good administrative ability. You have the ability to work independently and take your own initiative. You find it easy to explain to others how to use our support systems to meet their material needs. You are positive and have very good analytical ability. Your work demonstrates thoroughness, structure, and you are comfortable with routines. You have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new conditions and tasks, working both on short and long-term bases. Since the position involves both internal and external contacts, you should also have the ability to create, maintain, and develop good relationships and collaborations. You are flexible and open to working hands-on when required. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Meritorious Qualifications Experience working in database systems such as SAP (PRIO), LIFT, RSF, and LOGFAS. Experience working in the Swedish Armed Forces, for example as a quartermaster, logistician at a logistics unit, Army Staff, or within FMLOG. Experience previously working with logistics and material handling. Previous work within the Swedish Armed Forces or a government agency. Other Information The position is civilian. The employment is a permanent position on a full-time basis and begins with a six-month probationary period for applicants not currently employed by the Swedish Armed Forces. Work location is Kristinehamn. The work involves some domestic business travel and occasionally overnight stays. Working conditions typically involve a 40-hour work week, but sometimes occur at irregular times, such as during exercises. Start date by agreement. Individual salary setting is applied.
