We are looking for someone who speaks Spanish and wants to be part of implementing an EU-funded program for environment and climate in Bolivia. About the Job We are now seeking an administrator for Sida's Latin America unit where you will work with an EU-funded program in environment and climate in Bolivia. The program contributes to climate adaptation, strengthened natural resource management, and increased resilience against climate change. The position includes regular work trips to Bolivia for dialogue and monitoring of activities. The position is time-limited for 18 months with a start date of September 1, 2026. You will be part of the Latin America, Asia, Middle East and North Africa department. You work at our office in Rissne Sundbyberg. The Latin America unit supports the implementation of development cooperation in the region in close cooperation with colleagues at foreign authorities in Bolivia, Colombia and Guatemala. Qualifications Education - Academic degree or other education that the employer deems relevant Languages - Very good knowledge of Swedish, English and Spanish in speech and writing Work Experience and Knowledge - Thematic expertise in environment and climate - Experience managing project funding (allocation, receipt, reporting, etc.) - Experience handling activities within international development cooperation Functional Competencies/Skills: For this role, you need to: - Be able to lead yourself and take responsibility for your own development - Take initiative and be driven - Be able to collaborate in an intercultural context and in various settings - Be able to handle resistance, be flexible and solution-focused - Communicate strategically to influence, negotiate and mobilize - Be able to contribute to and absorb knowledge and evidence For this role it is advantageous if you - Have experience working with and/or in Bolivia - Have experience with EU cooperation and EU-funded projects - Have experience working with Sida's activity management system Good to Know The position is a special fixed-term employment until further notice, but no later than March 2028.
