We are seeking a temporary benefits administrator with a focus on SoL - Elderly Care. About the Workplace The Assistance Unit consists of 7 benefits administrators who conduct investigations according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and 3 benefits administrators who conduct investigations according to the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities (LSS), a team leader, and a unit manager. At the Assistance Unit, we strive for equitable assessments and maintain high legal security. We work in teams and are unpretentious. As a benefits administrator with us, you have access to support in the handling process from colleagues, team leaders, and unit managers. We collaborate with other units within individual and family care as well as service providers. Responsibilities Your work is to enable legally secure administration through qualified investigations and decisions made according to the Social Services Act (SoL), as well as to be responsible for follow-ups and reviews of decisions. An important aspect of your work is a strong citizen focus. This means you collaborate with both external partners in healthcare, family members and relatives, as well as internal partners and other social services. This requires good communication skills and a professional approach. Work as a benefits administrator also includes informing and guiding citizens to appropriate support and services. In addition to the handling process with decision-making, work tasks include documenting, collaborating both externally and internally, and participating in the unit's scheduled meetings and training. We work in the management systems Pulsen Combine and Cosmic Link, and we would appreciate if you have previous experience with these. We work according to the method Individual Needs at the Center (IBIC). Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a social worker, has a social care diploma, a bachelor's degree in social care, or another appropriate education that the employer deems suitable. You should have previous experience with public authority administration within SoL and experience with the IBIC method. As a person, you are unpretentious, quick to learn, and confident in yourself, and have a good ability to prioritize. You are flexible and ensure that what needs to be done gets done. You prefer to see possibilities rather than difficulties and enjoy the challenge of finding constructive solutions to complex problems. You are humble and receptive to others' views. You collaborate well both internally and externally. Good conduct is self-evident for you. You need to be well versed in current legislation and have the ability to work with complex issues. The position requires that you master the Swedish language well and have the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and a professional approach.
