It is a unique upper secondary school with proud traditions and a student base from all over Sweden. The school has documented high goal achievement with very good educational quality. The school offers programs in construction and engineering, business, electrical and energy, agriculture and forestry (with specializations in animal care, horse management, and farming), natural sciences, social sciences, and four introductory programs. The school also offers adapted upper secondary national programs in forestry, land and animals, and real estate, construction and facilities. The school provides national sports education (NIU) in equestrian sports and bandy as well as local sports education (LIU) in various sports. The school has a student residence with over 130 beds, as well as food production as part of the agricultural education program. Parts of the production are served at the municipality's kitchens. Welcome to Stiernhööksgymnasiet! Job Description As a teacher with us, you will teach on both college preparatory programs and vocational programs. You work closely with colleagues in work teams and subject teams and participate in the school's pedagogical development. The position includes mentoring. You may also be responsible for exams and retakes as well as perform other tasks related to the teaching role. Qualifications We are looking for you who are certified to teach Physical Education and Health at the upper secondary level, preferably in combination with an additional subject. You have strong commitment to student development and want to make a difference in their education. If you have experience teaching in upper secondary schools, especially in sports education and vocational programs, we consider that a merit. Teaching within specialized sports, sports specialization, and competition studies in NIU bandy and LIU hockey may also be relevant. We value your ability to create safe and trusting relationships that strengthen students' motivation and learning. You have good didactic competence and clear, present leadership in the classroom.
