Solsidan is an acute assessment and treatment home in Skara. Our target group is children aged 0-12 years, who stay with us for longer or shorter periods with or without their parents. We're now seeking dedicated treatment pedagogues to join our team! We're looking for a treatment pedagogue for a full-time temporary position. Start date is by agreement and the employment runs through December 31, 2026, with likely extension. We operate around the clock, which means you work according to a schedule with irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. We're also seeking hourly treatment pedagogues. As a treatment pedagogue you participate in work where you have the milieu therapeutic role in daily routines with our enrolled children and families such as cooking, cleaning and activities. You are expected to conduct conversations, behavioral observations, documentation and have contact with, for example, relatives and authorities. Together with treatment coordinators you are responsible for daily planning, care, and working together to fulfill the assignment. Although you are not expected to have case responsibility, you are expected with support from the treatment coordinator to participate in other treatment and investigative work in the department. QUALIFICATIONS Who are you? We're looking for someone with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or equivalent, in social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science or other relevant subject area. It is meritorious if you have experience working in HVB and LSS and are experienced working with MI, low-intensity approaches or other methods that the employer deems appropriate for work with this target group. It is also meritorious if you have completed and have certificates in training such as MI, TMO, Milieu Therapy, Repulse, Staircase or Taping. You should have knowledge of current legislation in the field. Based on the needs of the children and families, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability such as empathic ability, personal maturity and good self-awareness.
