We offer counseling and training and help with placements. Gryning is owned by municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations. Hagen treatment home is located in Kullavik, 20 kilometers south of Gothenburg, and has two treatment units; Överhuset (7 places for youth 14-18 years old) and Nederhuset (6 places for children/youth 9-14 years old) with 24-hour operations. Hagen's treatment units accept both boys and girls and placements based on the Social Services Act (2025:400) and according to the Act with Special Provisions for the Care of Young People (1990:52). We are now seeking three treatment pedagogues for awake night shift at Nederhuset, permanent employment at 78.16% with start date by agreement. Probationary employment may be applied. 3 position(s). JOB DUTIES What does the position entail? We work based on a milieu therapeutic approach. As an awake treatment assistant at night, your duties include care and supervision of the youth. During evening and nighttime, the focus is on maintaining safety, calm and security. You should be a trusted adult who can be available in the evening and at night if someone is anxious or sad. At Hagen, we have a sleeping on-call person who you will work together with. The awake night shift has primary responsibility for everything that arises after the sleeping on-call person goes to bed. If needed, that person is woken. Acute situations may arise that need to be handled, such as incidents and medical visits. As a treatment pedagogue on the night shift, you need to document in our documentation system. This also includes practical and administrative duties such as cleaning during the night. QUALIFICATIONS Who are you? We are looking for someone with at least two years of post-secondary education, or equivalent education, with a focus on social work, social pedagogy or behavioral science. Experience working with children and youth in vulnerable life situations and good knowledge of legislation in the field is meriting. We are looking for someone who is confident and stable and who has the ability to create calm and security. You are responsible, have personal maturity and good self-awareness. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Since the work may involve travel, a Category B driving license is required. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Indefinite.
