We offer counseling and training and help with placements. Gryning is owned by municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations. Hagen Treatment Home is located in Kullavik, 2 mil south of Gothenburg, and has two treatment units; Överhuset (7 places for youth ages 14-18) and Nederhuset (6 places for children/youth ages 9-14) with 24/7 operations. Hagen's treatment units accept both boys and girls and placements under the Social Services Act (2025:400) and the Act with Special Provisions for the Care of Young People (1990:52). We are now seeking three treatment pedagogues for awake nights at Nederhuset, permanent employment at 78.16% with start date by agreement. Probationary employment may be applied. 3 position(s). WORK DUTIES What does the position involve? We work from a milieu therapeutic approach. As an awake night treatment assistant, your work duties include care and supervision of the youth. In the evening and night, the focus is on maintaining safety, calm and security. You should be a trustworthy adult who is available in the evening and night if someone is anxious or sad. At Hagen, we have a sleeping on-call staff member who you will work alongside. The awake night staff member has primary responsibility for everything that occurs after the sleeping on-call staff member goes to bed. If needed, the sleeping staff member is awakened. Acute situations may arise that need to be handled, such as incidents and healthcare visits. As a treatment pedagogue on awake nights, you need to document in our documentation system. Administrative and practical work tasks are also included, such as cleaning, etc. during the night. QUALIFICATIONS Who are you? We seek you with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or an equivalent education, with a focus on social work, social pedagogy or behavioral science. Experience working with children and youth in vulnerable life situations and good knowledge of legislation in the field are merits. We seek you as someone who is secure and stable and who has the ability to create calm and safety. You are responsible, have personal maturity and good self-awareness. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. As the work may involve travel, a Class B driver's license is a requirement. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Indefinite.
