Kunskapsskolan's first schools opened in 2000, and today over 14,500 students attend the 30 elementary schools and 5 secondary schools. Kunskapsskolan Motala is an elementary school for grades 4-9 with approximately 280 students. The school is located in the Luxor district in a renovated former industrial building that is well-adapted to our teaching approach. In addition to your role as subject teacher, you have special responsibility as a personal mentor for a group of students. This includes conducting weekly mentoring conversations where you support students in planning, setting goals, and evaluating their studies. You serve as the link between school and home and are responsible for following up on student development together with guardians. At Kunskapsskolan, we emphasize teamwork. You are never alone with challenges and questions. We help each other plan work in work teams and subject teams. There is great openness among teachers, and we share responsibility for our students. To facilitate your work and allow you to focus on time with students, we have gathered a large portion of our teaching materials on our digital portal Kunskapsporten. For each subject, there are suggestions for teaching methods, assignments, and materials. Qualifications We are seeking a certified teacher with subject qualifications. You should be well-versed in LGR-22 and formative assessment. Meritorious Qualifications We would appreciate if you have several years of experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching. We want you to collaborate easily with colleagues, students, and guardians and to be solution-focused. We highly value your commitment, pedagogical competence, and mentoring ability.
