About Us Tingbergsskolan is a grades F–6 school located in Lödöse, with convenient access to a commuter station, bus stop, and forest and nature that we use as a natural part of our operations. The school has approximately 400 students and employs about 50 dedicated staff members. The after-school program has around 200 enrolled students distributed across three departments. We work together to create a safe, meaningful, and educational school experience for all students. Part of this position includes teaching within this program. Your Role As a music teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing music instruction based on the curriculum and students' needs. You inspire students toward musical development, creativity, and artistic expression while helping strengthen their self-esteem and ability to communicate. You become an important part of the school's educational activities where collaboration, participation, and the student's best interests are in focus. Together with colleagues, you work to create instruction that engages, challenges, and develops students. Key Responsibilities: Plan, implement, and follow up on music instruction. Create a creative, safe, and inspiring learning environment where all students have the opportunity to develop. Adapt instruction based on students' varying needs and capabilities. Assess and document students' learning progress according to applicable regulations. Collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and guardians to promote student learning and well-being. Areas of Responsibility and Expectations: Take responsibility for ensuring that instruction is of high quality and contributes to student learning. Be an active part of the school's development and quality improvement work. Build positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Contribute to a safe school environment characterized by academic peace, participation, and respect. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who is dedicated, responsible, and wants to inspire students to learn through music. Requirements: Teaching certification with qualification to teach music. Experience teaching in elementary school. Strong ability to plan, implement, and follow up on instruction. Good digital competence and experience using digital tools in a safe and flexible way in instruction. Personal Qualities: Clear pedagogical leadership. Good collaboration skills and a professional approach. Organized, flexible, and responsible. Strong ability to build safe and respectful relationships with students.
