The Education Department is responsible for the municipality's childcare and educational activities from preschool and after-school care to preschool class, elementary school, and adapted school. The Education Department's various operations actively work on school improvement in collaboration with the University of Gothenburg. School Area North consists of two schools, F-6: Rönneshytta and Åsbro. Rönneshytta School has approximately 140 students and is located beside a lake in a beautiful environment with nature close by. We work collegially and in a structured manner to develop and improve our teaching. We are looking for someone who enjoys being challenged and who can be a trusted adult with the school's students. 1 position(s). DUTIES You will plan, implement, and follow up on instruction. You are a clear leader who takes responsibility for all students' learning and development. You inspire knowledge and create good and safe learning environments. You are careful to guide your students and create trusting relationships. You have a working style that gives your students the opportunity to have a say in their school experience. The work includes continuously following up on students' knowledge development and shaping your teaching accordingly. As a mentor, you care for good relationships with guardians and collaborate with colleagues, student support services, and management. The coming school year will involve teaching in the F-3 team, but going forward it will also include teaching and mentoring in the intermediate grades. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • is a qualified teacher with teacher certification. • is responsible and confident in your professional role. • places the student at the center. • has the ability to build trusting relationships. • has your own ideas, enjoys working in a team, and is good at collaboration. • dares to try new things, follow up, and improve. • is interested in development and school improvement.
