You play an important role here About Us Welcome to Vittinge School in Heby Municipality, located in the beautiful natural surroundings of Vittinge between Uppsala and Sala. We moved into a brand new facility two years ago and share the building with the preschool. The school is an F-3 school with approximately 55 students. The surrounding nature and forest provide wonderful opportunities for play, movement, and discovery. We are a small team of three elementary teachers, one preschool teacher, and one special education teacher. The team is an important part of our mission, both from a perspective of sharing knowledge and for jointly developing structures and conditions for students' learning and development. We are certified in Green Flag and just completed our first year as an eco-school. About You We are looking for someone with a teaching degree focused on the early years of elementary school and qualified to teach F-3 You are a clear leader who collaborates well with students, colleagues, and school administration You are a strong role model who builds good relationships with students and their guardians By being interested and creating understanding for others, you work toward a respectful work environment You are organized, understand the shared mission, act in accordance with it, and contribute to the whole You adapt easily to your work methods based on changed circumstances and new information; you see opportunities in change Inclusive learning environments are a given for you, and you set expectations based on students' abilities It is a merit if you have previous experience working as a teacher in educational settings.
