Your Role As a teacher in grades 7–9, you teach English and German and are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction with a focus on students' knowledge development. You create structure, engagement, and clarity in the classroom and help make languages understandable, relevant, and useful. At Fridaskolan, mentoring is an important part of the role. You build relationships with students over time, follow their development, and maintain close dialogue with guardians. We believe that students develop best when they meet adults who both set high expectations and genuinely care. We want to narrow the gap between school and reality. That's why you see it as a matter of course to sometimes move learning outside the classroom through camps, field trips, collaborations, and interactions with the wider world that make teaching come alive and relevant. We are looking for colleagues who take initiative, inspire curiosity and engagement, and who want to be where the students are. You work closely with your team and other colleagues and actively contribute to the school's development.
