Your Responsibilities We are seeking a qualified teacher to teach grades 1-3 at Frennarp Village School. As a teacher, you will serve as a mentor and be responsible for instruction in a grade 3 class. You are expected to conduct parent meetings and development conferences. The work also involves planning instruction, documentation, and evaluation to develop the school's operations in accordance with the school's governing documents. As a teacher, you will contribute to developing the school's pedagogical activities. You are a clear and structured leader in the classroom with strong pedagogical skills in instruction. You have high expectations for students and can motivate them to achieve good results in their schoolwork by clarifying goals and learning requirements. You adapt instruction to students and take a formative approach. Your pedagogical work often requires resourcefulness, creativity, and flexibility, and you use strategies to promote students' motivation, participation, and influence. You are a natural collaborator and view the teaching team as an asset. Together with your team, you plan, implement, evaluate, and develop instruction in accordance with the school's governing documents and goals. The position also requires collaboration with other colleagues at the school. The teaching role requires the ability to analyze children's needs and the ability to apply methods well-suited to the individual student and group. Your Qualifications Licensed teacher with authorization to teach grade 3. You are a stable and trustworthy person with a strong ability to build confidence with those around you. It is important that you can work independently, are clear, action-oriented, and responsive to adapt to students' needs. You work calmly and systematically with a calm demeanor and have a positive and inclusive approach to students, colleagues, and parents. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the role. What We Offer This position is a temporary appointment for 3 months with possible extension. Additional Information Frennarp Village School is a grades F-3 school with approximately 90 students, of whom about 80 attend the school's after-school program. The school has an inspiring outdoor environment and is centrally located near Nissan and the beautiful nature surrounding Frennarp.
