Elmeskolan is a grades F-6 school with approximately 180 students starting in autumn semester 2026. We collaborate and share a building with International School of Älmhult, located near the Hagabo residential area. We have three work teams at the school: the after-school program, grades F-3, and grades 4-6. We have organized a study center at the school for students needing close support and a calm environment. Elmeskolan is committed to collegial development work through lead teachers who guide the work teams weekly in language-developing teaching methods across all subjects. The social learning environment has also been a focus area, along with collegial observations. The after-school program's development work aligns with the rest of the school. This position is filled pending that required decisions are made. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a teacher in the after-school program, you are an important part of the school day. Depending on your subject competence, the assignment is not yet fully determined. In the after-school program, you are part of the after-school team and take responsibility for planning toward the program's goals and its development. QUALIFICATIONS You have a degree and certification as a teacher for after-school programs. Experience is a merit. You can express yourself in correct Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You have a holistic approach to work and are flexible in adapting the days to be as good as possible for our students. You find it easy to build new relationships with both students and staff and can adapt your work based on what different people and situations need. You can work both independently and in teams, and you have good self-confidence while showing humility. Employment Type: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent.
