We are seeking an engaged elementary teacher for a temporary position in grades 4–6. This is an assignment for someone who wants to be a classroom teacher and have overall responsibility for students' learning, relationships, and development in daily life. Your responsibilities As a classroom teacher in grades 4–6, you are responsible for teaching most subjects, with the exception of physical education, music, crafts, and home and consumer studies. You plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction based on the curriculum and create teaching that gives students good opportunities to succeed. You will become an important part of a work team where collaboration, structure, and shared responsibility are central.
