Today, Henriksdalskolan is a preschool through grade 6 school under development operating in spacious new facilities in Höllviken. In the fall of 2025, we moved into a brand-new school building. As each new school year begins, a new cohort of 6-year-olds enters preschool class, and the operation will become a fully developed preschool through grade 9 school by 2028. At school start in August, we will be a preschool through grade 7 school with approximately 265 students. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We want you to help create the best school. Together with your colleagues, you stimulate students' development and learning by offering students a meaningful school day. We are looking for a teacher who wants to help develop and build the school's pedagogical activities. We place great emphasis on collaboration, pedagogical dialogue, and collegial learning. As a teacher with us, you plan, implement, and evaluate instruction based on the elementary school curriculum and governing documents. The position includes mentoring. You work closely with several work teams and grade-level teams, which provides excellent opportunities for collegial learning and collaboration with skilled and engaged educators. Together we take responsibility for creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all students feel seen, included, and given the conditions to develop to their fullest potential. QUALIFICATIONS You are a certified elementary school teacher for grades 1-7 with broad credentials. Preferably Swedish, English, Social Studies, and Natural Sciences. You are a responsible and engaged educator who works with clarity, safety, and good relationships with students. You always keep the student's best interests in focus, and your approach is characterized by respect for the individual and their needs and circumstances. We expect you to have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work. You have an approach that focuses on goal achievement through monitoring and analysis, and you develop your instruction with research support. We see that you are creative, flexible, easy to collaborate with, and have a pleasant and professional manner toward both educators, students, and guardians. Since the school is under development, it is highly valued if you have experience with such assignments. Employment Form: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent, start date: August 10, 2026.
