JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to work to provide elderly people with a safe, meaningful, and dignified daily life? Then this job is for you. In Ljungby Municipality, there are 7 special residential facilities - Brunnsgården, Haraberget, Åsikten, Ljungsätra, Ljungberga, Åbrinken in Lagan, and Björkäng in Lidhult. The work here is both important and varied, and you will be a central part of the residents' lives. As a staff member, you work closely with the residents and support them in what matters for their well-being. This can include personal care, meal support, assistance with mobility, medication management, and creating security and structure throughout the day. A large part of the work also involves contributing to an active and social daily life. This means encouraging and participating in activities, socializing, conversing, and creating a pleasant atmosphere, as well as supporting residents in maintaining their interests and abilities. QUALIFICATIONS You always start from the resident's individual needs, wishes, and circumstances. We are therefore looking for someone with a genuine interest in people, who is responsible and has good collaboration skills. It is important that you are flexible, confident, and have our residents' needs in focus. You need to have a good command of Swedish, both written and spoken, as documentation is an important part of your work. The job requires that you be able to handle a computer and telephone, as these are our work tools. The work is done in a team, where all roles are important. You are never alone and always have supportive colleagues by your side. Employment Type: Summer Job / Seasonal Work. Duration: 11 days - 3 months. You apply for the position through Offentliga Jobb.
