WORK TASKS As a summer substitute at one of our special residential facilities, Mariahemmet or Solgläntan, you'll have a summer job where your efforts really make a difference. You'll work with elderly people who need support in their daily lives and contribute to their security, participation, and quality of life. Your work tasks vary and may include assistance with personal care, such as dressing, hygiene, and meals, practical chores such as cleaning and shopping, as well as social activities and conversations. Your care and engagement in meeting with the residents is what matters most. Since activities at special residential facilities run around the clock, work includes scheduled shifts on weekdays, weekends, as well as evenings and nights. We'd particularly like to see applicants who can work nights during the summer. After summer, there are good opportunities to continue as a part-time substitute. QUALIFICATIONS We require no prior experience, but to thrive in the role you need a genuine interest in people and a desire to make a difference. You'll receive thorough introduction before you start. For us, your attitude and commitment are most important. You have a genuine interest in people and perform your work in a respectful and professional manner. You collaborate well with colleagues and build good relationships when meeting with the people you support. It's an advantage if you have ongoing or completed education in the care and nursing program, nursing program, or other relevant care education. Experience in care work, pedagogy, or behavioral science is also an advantage. If you've worked with us before and have good references, we also see that as a positive. For all summer substitute positions you need to be: • at least 18 years old • have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written A B driver's license is required for certain positions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. At the time of interview, you'll need to be able to verify your identity with valid ID. Duration: 3-6 months, start date: To be agreed., end date: 2026-08-31. Work hours: Scheduled shifts. Day, evening and night, as well as weekend service.
