Description We are now seeking a licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist for our Rehabilitation Unit in Vännäs. Here, four physiotherapists/physical therapists and seven occupational therapists work from a holistic perspective with all types of cases involving assessments, rehabilitation, treatment, home visits, and assistive device prescriptions. Our work takes place in close collaboration with other health and medical personnel, social workers, and care staff within support services, in special accommodations, and in home care. Job Responsibilities The physiotherapist/physical therapist we are now seeking will primarily work with patients receiving services in regular housing, but also in special accommodations and services under LSS (Swedish Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). You will work with rehabilitation, habilitation, and preventive interventions. You will also assess physical ability and subsequently propose and, if needed, prescribe assistive devices, training interventions, and maintenance interventions. Guiding and training care staff is an important part of the work. Qualifications We are looking for someone with good communication skills and a strong willingness to collaborate in teams across professional boundaries. You need to have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work both independently and in a group. We also want you to enjoy working in an environment where changes can happen quickly. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, good collaboration skills, and the ability to guide and motivate patients and care staff in a rehabilitative work approach. Experience working in health and medical care in the home and other municipal activities is a merit. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Before an employment offer is made, a valid extract from the police's record of convictions and suspicions for work in the home with the elderly must be presented. Starting salary for a newly graduated physiotherapist/physical therapist is 34,000 kr/full-time. Vännäs Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting.
