Your Workplace At Arvika Hospital, rehabilitation work is characterized by teamwork within inpatient care and day rehabilitation. In inpatient care, we work with two medical departments, one with a stroke unit and the other medical department with cardiac patients among others, as well as an orthopedic department and ICU. Patients come to the physiotherapy clinic by referral or seek care on their own initiative. Outpatient rehabilitation includes treatment of patients with: respiratory/circulatory conditions (including COPD, heart disease, and stroke), traumatic injuries (brain injuries and spinal cord injuries), neurology, rheumatology, and certain orthopedic conditions. Within outpatient care at the hospital, there is a day rehabilitation program where patients (primarily newly diagnosed stroke and brain injury patients as well as other neurology patients and others in need of team rehabilitation) are offered extended rehabilitation after their hospital stay. At the physiotherapy clinic, ten physiotherapists work together with three rehabilitation assistants. We foster collegial exchange and knowledge sharing in daily work and through internal training. Your Responsibilities We are now seeking a physiotherapist positioned in medical department 79, combined with work in inpatient or outpatient care with a focus on respiratory and circulatory conditions. Department 79 cares for patients with heart diseases, such as heart attacks and individuals who have undergone heart surgery, among others. Other physiotherapy tasks may also occur depending on need. Your Knowledge and Skills We are looking for you as a licensed physiotherapist. If you are a licensed physiotherapist, that title will be used in your employment. Since the position may involve travel, you need to have a driver's license (category B). We see that you take responsibility for your tasks and structure your work independently.
