Westernorrland Regiment with Jämtland Field Jägers (I 21) is a growing unit with operations at three locations. Military Health Services operates in Sollefteå and Östersund. About the Unit Military Health Services is expanding operations by adding a physiotherapist to meet the needs of a growing number of conscripts, cadets, and employees at I 21. Military Health Services is the Swedish Armed Forces' internal occupational health service, providing occupational health care for employees and health and medical services for conscripts during basic training. Our mission is to support the regiment with military medical expertise and contribute to good health, work environment, and performance capacity through health promotion, prevention, and rehabilitation measures. You will work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, physiotherapists, physicians, medical secretaries, occupational health engineers, and fitness coordinators. Main Responsibilities As a physiotherapist at Military Health Services, you will work with both health promotion and preventive measures, as well as assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation. The focus is on sports and overuse-related complaints among conscripts and cadets, but you will also support employees through medical assessments and rehabilitation measures. You will work closely with Military Health Services' fitness coordinator and jointly contribute to developing and supporting training, health, and physical performance capacity within the regiment. The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with other professionals within Military Health Services. Qualifications Licensed physiotherapist At least 5 years of professional experience Experience working with the Swedish Armed Forces Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Driver's license, minimum category B Meritorious Specialist or advanced training in a relevant area, such as ergonomics or OMT, or equivalent competency in diagnostics and treatment Experience in occupational health services and sports medicine Experience in independently managing projects and conducting training initiatives Completed military service, previous experience serving with the Swedish Armed Forces and/or international service Experience conducting physical performance tests, particularly within the Swedish Armed Forces Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is engaged, resourceful, and service-oriented. Primarily during daytime weekdays, but scheduled service at other times may occur. The position includes 3 hours of physical training during working hours.
