The workplace is located at Västervik Hospital. In lymph therapeutic work, which comprises the majority of the position, you will work in both inpatient and outpatient care settings. Work arrangements are adapted based on medical needs and patient conditions. This may include coordinated visits with other healthcare providers at or outside the hospital. You will work independently while also being an important part of multidisciplinary teams. Your physical therapy expertise will be utilized in your daily work as a lymph therapist and will contribute to unit operations alongside your colleagues. It is important to us that you have the right start at your workplace. We work with mentorship and introductions are planned and conducted together with experienced colleagues. Your working hours are during daytime on weekdays. Travel may be required as part of the position. About You We are seeking a licensed physical therapist with credentials equivalent to a certified lymph therapist. You have excellent interpersonal skills and strong collaboration abilities, are flexible in your approach to work, take responsibility, and contribute to a good and healthy work environment. We consider it a merit if you have previous experience working as a lymph therapist or as a physical therapist/physiotherapist in inpatient care. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Your Future Workplace You will be part of a work group consisting of physical therapists/physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We have close collaboration with other units within Samrehab, other departments at the hospital, and with municipal primary care in the northern region. Samrehab is a creative base unit consisting of occupational therapists, physical therapists/physiotherapists, dietitians, speech-language pathologists, social workers, psychologists, and support staff in both outpatient and inpatient care in northern Kalmar County. Västervik Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an acute care facility with obstetrics and postpartum services.
