Together we can make a difference every day. Your New Job As a recreation teacher and student assistant, you will support children's development and learning. You will be the person who supports students in their schoolwork and is present throughout the day, giving you a complete picture of how the student and group function both during school hours and during recreation activities. Your responsibilities include supporting teachers and students during school time and managing instruction at the recreation facility. You will be responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and follow-up. Collaboration with the rest of the team and families is important to ensure that students have the opportunity to develop as much as possible. Learning can happen in many ways and all students are different with different needs. The need to adapt activities to meet everyone's needs is an important and significant responsibility. The position also requires you to be available during breaks, where you will support students who need assistance or facilitate break activities. Your Qualifications You have strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written You have appropriate education, such as student assistant, childcare provider, recreation pedagogue, or recreation teacher You have good knowledge of the recreation facility's governing documents and can apply them in daily work You have a strong interest in developing instruction and supporting students in their learning process Your view of students aligns with the curriculum's values-based intentions You have great interest in pedagogical challenges and dare to challenge yourself and your colleagues to think about development You have good computer skills, and it is an asset if you have worked with digital school systems, for example: Google Workspace, Unikum, Skola24 Previous work experience is an asset It is an asset to have experience working with students with special needs or students in adapted primary school, as collaboration and cooperation with the school's other activities occurs regularly We're Looking for You! You have empathetic ability to understand students' needs and meet them where they are, and to listen, encourage, stimulate, and challenge them to develop further. You are flexible and can find new solutions. You are self-driven and confident in your pedagogical leadership and have a good ability to build relationships with both students and colleagues.
