Do you want to help create meeting places where children, young people, and families feel welcome, seen, and included? We are now recruiting a leisure and youth leader for a project position based in Åhl. About the Position We are looking for a committed leisure and youth leader who wants to develop and strengthen our work with children, young people, and families. As a leisure and youth leader, you will have an important role in launching work with a special focus on children and families in Åhl. You will also develop and maintain activities for children's groups and collaborate with schools in the area. The position also includes work with youth activities and confirmation classes within the parish. You will be part of the parish's teaching team and work closely with colleagues in various areas of operation. Key Responsibilities: Launch and develop activities focused on children and families in Åhl. Plan and implement activities for children and young people in Åhl. Collaborate with schools and other local stakeholders. Participate in the parish's youth activities. Take part in planning and implementing confirmation classes. We Are Looking for Someone Who: Has formal training as a leisure and youth leader or other education/experience that the employer considers equivalent. Has experience working with children and young people. Is proactive, skilled at building relationships, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. We require that you are a member of the Church of Sweden, share the Church of Sweden's values, and have an interest in the Church's work with children, young people, and families. Personal suitability is given great weight. Employment Terms Church of Sweden agreement, fixed-term position at 50% during the period September 1, 2026–June 30, 2028, based in Åhl Parish.
