Job Responsibilities We are seeking a folk high school English teacher for Fornby Folk High School's branch in Falun. This limited-term position at 30% spans the academic year 2026/27 and includes, in addition to English instruction, scheduled activities with non-subject-specific content. The non-subject-specific content, which we call culture, body and mind, can include aesthetic activities, fitness, nature experiences, or similar (the teacher's own interests and knowledge can form the basis for which activities are offered to participants). Subject instruction will take place in general courses (equivalent to upper secondary school) and spans levels from basic English to English level 2. To qualify for this position, you must have teacher training education and experience teaching English in primary school, upper secondary school, or folk high school. It is advantageous to be a licensed teacher with subject competence. Folk high school teacher training is also advantageous. Since the position involves working with individuals on the autism spectrum, pedagogical and practical experience with such work is advantageous. Pedagogical skill and good interpersonal sensitivity are essential, and great weight will be placed on personal suitability in this recruitment.
