WORK TASKS Work Tasks: Hörby Municipality is strengthening its organization and is seeking a competent and independent property technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who appreciates the opportunity to learn new things and the possibility to develop in your professional role. As a property technician in Hörby Municipality, you will be assigned a property portfolio where you are responsible for maintenance, upkeep, operations, and preventative work. You are the municipality's link to tenants in matters concerning the properties and their surrounding environment. Together with your colleagues, you form the basis for maintaining a good standard in and around the municipality's property portfolio, as well as satisfied tenants. In your daily work as a property technician, the following are included, among other things: • Receive and carry out fault reports and orders from municipal operations. • Perform statutory authority inspections such as: monthly and quarterly tests of fire alarm systems and SBA inspections. • Daily rounds and supervision of the properties and their surrounding environment. • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and adjustment of technical systems in the properties. • Self-inspection based on property owner responsibility. • Book and follow up on contractors' work regarding larger assignments that we do not handle ourselves. • Daily work with technical installations such as heating, ventilation, water, and control and regulation technology. • Contact with operations, subcontractors, and other partners. • Preventative work. If interested, standby work may become relevant later on. Start date for the position is September 1, 2026 QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in the role of property technician in Hörby Municipality, we are looking for someone with the following profile. • Relevant education or equivalent knowledge within the field acquired through work experience is required. • Independent, stable, and confident. • Your own inner drive and ability to make your own decisions. • A very good sense of service. • Comfortable with juggling multiple tasks. • Solution-oriented, technical, practical, and handy. • You need to be confident, stable, curious, and have good self-awareness. • In your professional performance, good judgment and integrity are required. • You need to have good cooperation skills and be clear in how you communicate. • A Class B driver's license is a requirement. • Master Swedish language both spoken and written. • Some computer skills are required. • A criminal record check extract must be presented before any potential employment. • We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
