Job Description Facilities Caretaker We are looking for a self-motivated, responsible, and practically-minded team member with broad experience in facilities maintenance and service work. You should have a keen eye for detail and work proactively to identify needs and solve problems before they impact operations. About the Position As the facilities manager, you will have overall responsibility for the institution's facilities maintenance and premises care. You will work proactively with inspections, preventive maintenance, and practical measures to ensure that the facility's premises, equipment, and outdoor environment maintain a high standard. You will also work closely with the institution's safety officer and play an important role in preventive safety work and Systematic Fire Safety Work (SBA). Through your daily presence in the operation, you will contribute to identifying risks, addressing deficiencies, and ensuring that premises, inventory, and safety functions meet the operation's requirements for safety and security for young people and staff. The role requires you to be able to identify needs, prioritize efforts, and independently drive work forward. You will also collaborate with external suppliers and contractors and be responsible for follow-up on maintenance requests and corrective actions.
