Welcome to us We are part of the Division for Individual and Family Support and work with a family-oriented approach. This means we look at the entire family system and strive for comprehensive and coordinated needs assessments. Our units work closely together and collaborate based on what's best for each family. In the fall, a new area will be under development, which will include the school social team (SST) among others. Your role As a family counselor in the school social team in Skarpnäck, you will be part of a developing team. Currently, the team consists of three employees, but we will expand based on the transition to new social services legislation to meet needs. The team will work with the whole picture, meaning both interventions with and without needs assessment. The target group is students from pre-school class through year 9. The intervention is voluntary, and the purpose and goal of the assignment are to improve students' attendance and academic achievement at school, as well as strengthen their mental health/well-being and family relationships. The design and implementation are created together with the student, parents, and school, and tailored individually with a clear plan that is reviewed regularly. We're looking for someone who can work with drive, transparency, independence, and flexibility. The role involves significant personal responsibility and requires high demands on good collaboration skills. The work includes managing many contacts in parallel while maintaining smooth and well-functioning collaboration between the school, home, and social services. The work is conducted in close cooperation with colleagues, other units within the division, and schools. Your competence and experience For this position, we're looking for someone who has: A degree in social work or other higher education that the employer deems equivalent. Basic psychotherapy training, level 1. Solid knowledge of both school and social services operations. Experience working on change processes in families and knowledge of children and young people with neuropsychiatric diagnoses. It is advantageous if you have: Knowledge of LGBTQI issues. Experience in organizational development. Before employment with us becomes relevant, you will need to provide a current extract from the police burden register.
