As a family treatment specialist in our open care service, you work closely with children, young people, and their families to create lasting changes in everyday life. Interventions are tailored to the family's needs and can be provided in the home, in our facilities, or in other environments. Your work tasks include, among other things: • Offering support conversations to individuals and families • Working together with the individual/family's network to create structure and motivation • Conducting parenting courses • Providing support in the form of service benefits and assistance according to the Social Services Act • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders • Working with documentation and implementation plans You have significant responsibility for your cases while also having close support from colleagues and management. You will become part of an experienced and engaged team consisting of: • Five family treatment specialists • Two adult treatment specialists • Development manager • Family assistant • Social worker, project staff for Together for Presence. You have experience with treatment work with children and families, preferably in municipal open care. It is meritorious if you have further education in, for example, KIBB, FFT, or training on violence in close relationships, as well as experience in conducting parenting courses. In your work as a treatment specialist, you should be confident in your professional role and be able to meet people in need of social services support in a clear and trustworthy manner. We place great emphasis on how we treat the people who seek our support, so personal suitability is of great importance. As a person, you are accustomed to taking responsibility for your workday, planning and completing your tasks. The work is varied and makes great demands on competence and flexibility. You are independent, have good collaboration skills, and are interested in personal and professional development. The work tasks require you to have good knowledge and the ability to express yourself in speech and writing. A Category B driver's license is required for employment.
