The school has approximately 430 students and 115 staff members. Our school is located near Tyresta National Park in Haninge Municipality with old-growth forest around the corner. Your assignment As a recreation pedagogue at Svartbäcksskolan, you are an important part of the students' combined school day. You work to create a safe and developmental environment for our students during school time, as well as breaks and leisure time. During school time, you work in the classroom together with teachers and jointly develop approaches that are conducive to student learning. In the afternoon, you work in after-school activities and together with your colleagues are responsible for ensuring students have an enjoyable and meaningful leisure time. You plan, implement, and continuously evaluate the operations and ensure they are based on Lgr 22. The after-school program is in an exciting development process where you have the opportunity to be involved and make an impact. What we're looking for in you We're looking for someone who is trained as a recreation pedagogue and has several years of experience working in schools, making you confident in your professional role. You are engaged and have the ability to build good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians alike. You work well in collaboration and cooperation and see this as a natural part of your daily work. You are flexible and solution-oriented, with students' needs and well-being always in focus. You have a positive view of children and believe that children do well if they can. You are calm and composed and treat students with consideration and respect, even in challenging situations.
