Within the Social Care Administration, approximately 1,200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home services, support for people with disabilities, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Would you like to lead a special housing facility in Ystad with security, structure, and trust? We are looking for a unit manager who is confident in their leadership and has several years of experience leading operations and staff. You are a stable and present leader who creates clarity, structure, and predictability in daily work. You build trustful relationships, stand firm even when facing challenges, and have the ability to create a good work environment where people feel seen, included, and secure. You believe that good results are created together and that sustainable employee engagement is a prerequisite for providing high-quality care. As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, finances, and work environment within your special housing facility. You lead, organize, and monitor operations based on applicable legislation, set goals, and agreed-upon working methods. Your task is to create conditions for safe, secure, and high-quality care. You lead and develop employees through present and trust-based leadership and ensure good structure, clear working methods, and a sustainable work environment. You also work with follow-up, analysis, and improvement initiatives to reach operational goals. You collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of elderly care throughout Ystad Municipality. With us, leadership is exercised together. As a member of the management group, you actively contribute to coordination, a holistic perspective, and long-term solutions—always with the individual's needs and high-quality care in focus. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • appropriate higher education, for example as a social worker, nurse, personnel and working life program, or other education that the employer deems equivalent • several years of documented experience as a manager with responsibility for personnel, finance, and work environment • good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing • good knowledge of elderly care legislation and conditions. It is an advantage if you have: • experience of leadership within elderly care • experience of working in a politically governed organization • B-category driver's license.
