At Hagby ängar in Nora, we are now recruiting an engaged unit manager who wants to take responsibility for the whole operation and work together with staff to create the best possible everyday life for our residents. Hagby ängar is a specialized residential facility with 84 beds for people with dementia, where we place the individual at the center and work based on a person-centered and salutogenic approach. As a unit manager with us, you will have a key role where you are given good opportunities to influence, develop, and make a difference—every day. You will share leadership with two other unit managers. For several years, the facility has worked to create an outdoor environment that is inviting to spend time in, including chickens and dogs in the operation. 1 position(s). DUTIES As unit manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and developing the facility with a focus on quality, safety, and the individual's needs. Through clear, present, and engaging leadership, you create conditions for your approximately 30 employees to provide high-quality care and services. Your assignment involves overall responsibility for the operation, including staff, work environment, and budget. You lead, coach, and develop your team while ensuring that the facility operates efficiently and in accordance with established goals. You are part of the care and services management group together with nine other unit managers and a facility manager. Together, you drive common development issues and create a cohesive and sustainable organization. Work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues, support functions such as HR and finance, and external partners. You therefore have an important role in building relationships and collaborating both internally and externally. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Has relevant higher education, or experience in leadership within healthcare, care, or social work that the employer deems equivalent • Is a confident and clear leader with the ability to make decisions, prioritize, and create engagement • Has an unpretentious and receptive approach and enjoys working in a team It is meritorious if you also have: • Experience working in healthcare and care • Experience in management or leadership positions, preferably in eldercare or similar operations Personal qualities: To succeed in this role, we see that you have a good ability to structure and prioritize your work, and that you are solution-oriented and action-driven. You have a holistic perspective and can adapt both yourself and the operation based on new needs and conditions. You are a confident leader who builds trust through open and clear communication. Your leadership is characterized by commitment, receptiveness, and a desire to develop both employees and the operation. Since the work involves extensive collaboration, your ability to create and maintain good relationships is essential. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
