Ulricehamns Municipality's Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and health care in the home, individual and family care, and care and residential facilities. The disability services operation works every day, year-round, to provide our users with the support they need for a meaningful life, including housing, personal assistance, accompaniment, day activities, and contact person services. The operation consists of ten units, including one unit for authority functions and nine service provider units. We are now seeking a unit manager for one of our service provider operations! 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a unit manager, you report directly to the operations manager for disability services (FN) and are a natural part of FN's management group. As a unit manager, you have personnel responsibility and workplace environment responsibility and are involved in matters related to labor law. You are responsible for staffing and recruitment and work actively with the staff teams. You conduct, among other things, workplace meetings and employee and salary discussions. As a unit manager, you work with people and are a highly present leader. The assignment includes maintaining a balanced budget against set targets and optimizing resources through development and continuous improvement of operations. Within Ulricehamns Municipality, there is a clear focus on actively working with solutions in the user's home environment. We use an approach based on a solution-oriented and creative approach tailored to each user's unique needs and possibilities. As a leader, we strive toward a trust-based approach. QUALIFICATIONS You have relevant higher education, such as a degree in social work or other education and courses that the employer finds equivalent. You have experience with similar work within LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations or other experience in social work with strong knowledge in the field. You have knowledge of relevant legislation as well as economics and labor law. Previous leadership experience is a merit. We are looking for someone who is innovative and creative and who will proactively and strategically drive this continued change and development work. During the journey, it is important that you are empathetic, responsive, and communicative. You have a good ability to create and maintain good relationships, high collaborative skills while being independent, accustomed to making your own sound decisions with economic awareness and clear customer focus in mind. We require a driver's license and will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, Start date: Start date to be agreed.
