About Svenco Svenco Papperssäckar AB is a family business now run in its fourth generation. Since the 1970s, all our manufacturing and administration has been located in Arlandastad. We manufacture environmentally friendly food waste bags and waste sacks made of paper – products that play an important role in Sweden's waste management and transition to a more sustainable society. We currently have nearly 30 employees. We are proud of our strong cohesion and that many employees choose to stay with us for a long time. Now we are looking for a new colleague who wants to help develop the business together with us. About the Position As a mechanic/technician with us, you will have a varied role where you combine practical work with technical problem-solving. Your responsibilities include, among other things: - Operating our production lines - Preparing raw materials - Adjusting and calibrating machines - Quality control - Troubleshooting and minor repairs - Preventive and periodic maintenance For those who want to develop further, there are good opportunities to take on greater responsibility in mechanical maintenance, improvement work, and more advanced technical projects. We also have our own mechanical workshop at the factory, which means that much of the maintenance and repair work can be carried out directly on site. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with a genuine technical and mechanical interest and who enjoys problem-solving. You are committed, responsible, and work well with others. At the same time, you are comfortable working independently when the situation requires it. We would like to see that you have: - Technical or mechanical background, through education or work experience - Interest in machinery, technology, and maintenance - Good problem-solving skills - Willingness to learn new things and develop together with the company For us, the right attitude is at least as important as previous experience. Working Hours We work two shifts according to the following schedule: Morning Shift Monday–Thursday: 06.00–15.00 Friday: 06.00–16.48 Afternoon Shift Monday–Thursday: 15.00–24.00 This means you have every other Friday off. Due to the shift schedule, we would prefer that you live in the local area.
