Description Diseröd School is located in Romelanda, just outside Kungälv, in a beautiful natural area. Here you will work with very engaged and positive colleagues. Come and become part of our wonderful school! Diseröd School is an F-6 school (preschool through grade 6). For the upcoming fall, we have just over 370 students and five after-school programs. Our school has an exciting future, as we are building new facilities and renovating the existing school over the next few years. Since fall 2024, we have a brand new gymnasium. In August, we opened our new cafeteria and 6 new classrooms. In a couple of years, the entire school will be new, and we look forward to creating a learning environment based on new opportunities in beautiful facilities and an expanded schoolyard. We place great emphasis on working toward a safe school and good interactions with students at the center. We continuously work to develop our operations and collaboration between colleagues is an important factor in this work. Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a teaching assistant for a student in preschool class. You will assist the student both during school hours and in the after-school program, as well as with certain daily routines. You will work closely with your colleagues in the preschool class and in the after-school program. Qualifications We are looking for someone who ideally has training in autism and experience with image-based communication, preferably PECS. You should be a person with a strong interest in children and their development. Experience in healthcare is an asset. Some lifting may be required. You need to be in good physical condition, as the student likes to move a lot and quickly and you must keep up. You need to be able to swim, as this may be necessary in the future when swimming lessons become relevant. As a person, we see that you: - Are flexible and adapt easily to changing circumstances. - Are calm, stable, and composed in stressful situations. - Have good collaboration skills. - Listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner. - Are relationship-building, outgoing, and socially active in a professional context. - Have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
