Grades 1-6 Subjects and Grades 1-9 Subject Areas are located at Parkskolan. Grades 7-9 Subjects are located at Stora Vallaskolan. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will work with students both during school hours and during leisure time. The work involves supporting students throughout the day with everything from learning to meal situations and breaks, etc. The largest part of the assignment is to support students' learning both during school hours and leisure time, but since it is an adapted primary school, it is important to also be able to support various care-related matters. The work can be physically demanding with heavy lifting. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with experience working with students who need AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), as well as the ability to interpret social interactions and signals from students. We also expect you to be an adult role model who is calm and trust-building with a professional and low-key approach. You have completed upper secondary education with a focus on children and leisure or care and health services, or other education or experience that the employer considers equivalent. We would prefer that you have experience working with TAKK. It is desirable if you have completed teaching assistant training and you should have experience working with people with intellectual and physical disabilities. You have a great interest in people and the ability to build good relationships. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and attentive to students' individual needs. You must be calm and pedagogical with great patience and the ability to create a sense of security for each student. You need to be clear in your actions.
